The building is conventionally framed with metal siding, standing seam roof and 8 floors. The project required construction of deep foundations and pits for the forging equipment, construction of a crane maintenance platform and a 2-story office. Process utilities include air, water and gas loops and welding outlets. Fire protection emanates from a freestanding pump house with a foam system in the manufacturing space and wet sprinklers in the office. HERBASCO provided manufacturing plant construction / manufacturing facility construction which included electrical, mechanical and structural engineering. |
